(NYSE: VSH) announced the introduction of ESTAspring, the industry's first lever-operated spring connected LVAC power capacitors, PhMKP series.The assembly time of Vishay ESTA PhMKP series power capacitors is shortened by 60%, and the connection reliability is improved under strong vibration application environment.

    

Most cylindrical power capacitors use screwed IP20 terminals, while ESTAspring's PhMKP series capacitors do not require screws.In this way, not only can the connection be faster and easier, but the continuous contact force ensures the strongest contact throughout the whole life cycle of the device, which is an ideal choice for applications where the connection is prone to looseness.

The metallized polypropylene film capacitor requires no tightening screws and provides a completely maintenance-free connection for LV power correction and harmonic filters for wind farms, solar panels and inverters, and thermal power plants.ESTAspring facilitates visual inspection of these connections;The device is reliably connected as long as the lever is closed.

PhMKP series devices rated voltage 230 V to 1000 V, output capacity 2 kvar to 37.1 kvar, maximum terminal current 90 A.The capacitor adopts stainless steel spring joint, which is corrosion-resistant. Two versions of oil filling and dry air filling are available.The device complies with RoHS, UL, cUL and Vishay green standards and is halogen-free.

PhMKP series capacitors are now available as samples and have been mass produced with a supply cycle of 10 weeks.
